Dual Aft Body Strakes
Improve Directional Stability and Cabin Comfort
Improve your aircraft’s directional stability, passenger comfort, pilot control and aircraft handling during takeoff, climb, cruise and landing with Raisbeck’s Dual Aft Body Strakes (DABS). Wing-to-body vortices normally disrupt airflow under your aircraft’s aft fuselage, resulting in drag. By channeling airflow directly under the aft fuselage, our Dual Aft Body Strakes eliminates airflow separation, creating better climb and cruise performance while reducing stress on aft fuselage stringers.

Not eligible for STC transfer from one aircraft to another
- Improved directional stability and pilot control during takeoff, climb and landing
- Reduced drag in all phases of flight
- Improved passenger comfort
- Quieter cabin and cockpit
- Increases and/or eliminates OEM yaw damper inoperative altitude limitation
- Replaces factory installed ventral fin
- Sheds wing to body vortices captured under the aft fuselage, reducing aft body drag. This results in a coanda-effect, re-attaching airflow to the aft body.
