Composite 5-Blade Swept Propellers
Continuing in the company’s tradition of applying state-of-the-art technology to the design of high-performance propellers, Raisbeck worked with Hartzell Propeller to bring Composite Swept Blade Propellers to 200 and 300 series King Airs. Noticeably quieter, lighter in weight, damage resistant and commanding more power without added noise, Raisbeck’s Composite 5-Blade Swept Propellers offer increased performance, strength and payload. Composite blades are manufactured with structural carbon fiber composite over a metal blade shank retention section and nickel cobalt leading edges for superior durability against FOD and improved erosion resistance to environmental conditions. Raisbeck’s Composite 5-Blade Swept Propellers also offer operators reduced life cycle costs due to repairability of the blades and the ability to maintain their airfoil shape, resulting in longer blade life expectancy.
- Available for King Air models 300, B300, 350 and 360
- Available for King Air models 200, B200, B200GT, 250 and 260
- Compatible with all Raisbeck Performance Systems
- Structural composite blades are composed of a metal blade shank retention section onto which is molded a low-density foam core that supports built-up layers of composite laminate
- Nickel cobalt leading edges protect against foreign object damage (FOD)
- Swept-wing technology enables larger diameter, while blade sweep eliminates undesirable drag and prop tip noise
- Manufactured by Hartzell Propeller, Inc.
