Crown Wing Lockers installed on first King Air C90GTi off production line

February 21, 2008 - Seattle, Washington, USA

Raisbeck Crown Wing Lockers have been installed on the first King Air C90GTi off the Hawker Beechcraft production line, serial number LJ-1847. The Performance System was shipped in late 2007 and was installed on the customer's aircraft at Turboprop East in early 2008.

Raisbeck Crown Wing Lockers not only improve the productivity and practicality of an aircraft's mission, they improve performance as well. In 2007, Raisbeck redesigned the original lockers and announced the new Crown Wing Locker models, with the center of the door providing an increase of almost three inches at centerline height. This allows owners and operators to store oversize luggage, full-size golf bags and other sporting equipment with ease.

They are approved for 600 lbs (300 lbs per locker) for nearly 17 cubic feet of storage space, and are fully certified for FAR Part 135 operations. The lockers are area-ruled to reduce drag and stall speeds and are removable in minutes for aircraft maintenance.

“Our customers continue to see value in our performance systems,” said Scott Keefe, Raisbeck Sales Manager for King Air Performance Systems. “The fact that this is the first C90GTi off the line speaks volumes.”

Turbo Prop East, based in North Adams, Mass., has been a Raisbeck Authorized Dealer for more than a decade. Their unswerving dedication to customers has greatly assisted the promotion of Raisbeck King Air Performance Systems. They strive to be the best aircraft service and sales organization in the Northeast, focused on servicing the needs of corporate, private, and regional aircraft operators. In January of 2001, they achieved the Diamond Award phase of the FAA Maintenance Technician Awards Program, the highest achievable phase of the program. To learn more, visit www.turboprop.com.
