The one thing every Learjet Model 31/31A operator needs is more cargo capacity! The Raisbeck Aft Fuselage Locker will carry a wide variety of business equipment such as tripods and transits, architectural drawings,meeting materials and more. In addition, you can lay garment bags flat in the Locker so the clothes inside never arrive wrinkled.

You never have to compromise cabin space again with extra-long items or ship them in advance of your trip. Now you can carry it all with you safely, securely—and legally.

The external locker is an especially valuable asset on multiple-stop missions, making it possible to load and unload baggage without having passengers deplane to load the additional baggage. Turnaround time is quicker, because you can leave the right engine running.

Loading and unloading is easy, too: the locker sideways at waist height. Even fully loaded at its maximum capacity of 300 lbs, the locker glides smoothly with very little effort.

Combining the Aft Fuselage Locker with the re-contoured ZR LITE System flaps further enhances and completes drag reduction on the Learjet 31, providing maximized drag reduction benefits during every hour of every flight.

The Raisbeck Aft Fuselage Locker improves aerodynamic efficiency by improving laminar air flow over and around the aircraft to reduce the inefficient air between the wing/fuselage/pylon/engine nacelle juncture. In addition, the Locker installation provides the ability to shift the C.G. aft, reducing the amount of nose up authority required from the stabilizer. This results in drag reduction at the horizontal stabilizer, which promotes improvements in fuel savings as well as climb, cruise and descent capability.
